Lovely Jakimirya
Jakimirya is a central part of Mirya village. Jakimirya's beautiful nature has always impressed me. The sea around its three sides, the lovely sea shore, the fishing boats, the one and only one entry road running through & getting divided into three sub roads from Alawa, the lovely half-turn in Alawa, the coconut trees, the mango trees & many more trees in a jungle area, the Navalai-Pavanai, Hanuman, Dattatray, Ganesh temples, the lovely houses, primary school, the Mirya Bandhara (wall protecting from sea encroachment), the Mirya Society Building, the Gram panchayat building, then the fisheries project, the mirya creek creeping into Jakimirya and running towards Zadgaon, the water pump supplying the water to Jakimirya and above all the lovely people of Jakimirya and many more attractions are here. Let us see one by one .

Its winter here !
That was in the rain. Now the rain has gone . Its winter every where here in Jakimirya ! There is cold in weather . New birds are feeling the cold . Its very nice to watch !
The nature is taking a new look . Sky is shaping in other way . Sun is shinning in a different mood. The Sun is setting with different shades ! The tree leaves are changing their colours slightly ... everything is on the move ...

In 1940 Mirya Jetty was formed by the British Rulers . Mirya jetty was created at Mirya bunder . Bunder means port . It has an historic importance . It has been an historic port . There were the sea transportation in this area. The boats from Mumbai and Goa were coming and going in this Port. It was a natural port . It was a British Sight that developed this port. British military force was coming and going through this port. From 1940 onwards the sea transportation was running for many years ahead. But it has stopped after few years of independence of India . The natural beauty of Jakimirya is on the increase day by day as the Summer is approaching to its end . Here , people are moving towards the rain. The rain does it more beautiful .
