I am connected with you from my tiny village Jakimirya at the corner of the world ! How is it possible ? You said it right ! Ya, it is because of the Internet ! So, it is you, me, my village Wonderland Jakimirya and the internet ! You must be interested to know about my little village. You must be wondering why I have added word wonderland before its name : Jakimirya ! When you will go through this blog, you will quite agree with me. Until now you must have seen at least the home page of this blog. I know you will see more and more as you go ahead. The village has indeed a beautiful nature, lovely sea around its three sides of the land and the only one road to reach the city ! It has religious culture, has temples and colourful festivals. While keeping with the traditions, wonderland Jakimirya is enjoying the new technology and particularly the internet !

Now, we are in the year 2020 . The internet has established itself even in my village located at the far end of the developed world ! You will be surprised to know what this village people can do with the internet ! These lovely people of Jakimirya are using internet in many ways and thus equalling the city people nearby ! They are smartly using mobiles, computers and laptops ! They serf, search, collect information, write articles and poems online. They post on the different social media flatforms. They can create their own email id and send emails. They can operate different softwares. They can do online jobs from their homes ! Yes, many employees from the companies in big cities like Pune and Mumbai have already came back to their lovely village Jakimirya and they are doing their office work smartly from home in the corona virus pandemic crisis. The villagers of Jakimirya can create videos and post them on YouTube, facebook, instagram and whatsapp etc. They chat on whatsapp and messenger. They are using various apps.
There are 10 self help groups of women in Jakimirya and they use the internet smartly. You can know in detail about these groups here. They have made groups on whatsapp and post many useful messages and plans for the betterment of village women. The village gram panchayat has established a wify connection and using #internet to know the welfare plans, social awareness programs and many such programs. The grampanchayat does correspondence through computer and internet. It can see Grants on the government websites. They can use the facility of video conferencing. There are CC TV cameras set in Navalai Pavnai temple in Jakimirya. So the rural people of Jakimirya are with the advanced world and #technology as far as the internet is concerned.
Concept of ' Village Net '
There can be a one combined internet program for the whole village and a concept like ' Village Net ' can be a new horizon for these village people !
