 Jakimirya has a connection to Ramayana !

 It has a reference to one of the stories of Ramayana. It is related to the Ram Ravan war ! Hanumanji took part of Dronagiri mountain from India to Shrilanka. Dronagiri mountain is also called as Dunagiri . It is one of the high peaks of the Chamoli District Himalayas. This place is in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. It lies at the northwest corner of the Sanctuary Wall, A ring of peaks surrounding Nanda Devi and enclosing the Nanda Devi Sanctuary, as the Wikipedia states.

This question is related with Hanuman Sanjeevani butti story . In Ramayana battle  Laxman , brother of Rama, was failed unconscious by a weapon from Meghnath, the Ravana's eldest son. Hanuman was asked to bring the Sanjeevani herb. 

Where did Hanuman get the Sanjeevani herb ? 

Hanuman was asked to fetch Sanjeevani herb from the Dronagiri mountain in Himalayas. Due to less time and uncertainty about the herb, hanuman took a big part of the  mountain to Shrilanka, to save the life of Laxman.

What is the use of Sanjeevani butti ?

It is said that medicines prepared from this magical herb Sanjeevani could bring the patients in any situations like in the stage of almost dying , back to life .

The origin of name  Mirya is in Ramayana ! 

When Hanuman was fetching the Dronagiri mountain from Himalaya to Shrilanka, the three tiny parts of Dronagiri mountain dropped down in the sea during the journey. It is said that the land of Mirya Bander is one of them ! (Another is Boribandar and the third one is Ghodbandar possibly ). It is said that the name Mirya had been given due to the tiny size of land . People still think the Sanjeevani butti or herb can be found in Mirya hills and as a part of Mirya, Jakimirya has also a bigger hilltop area. In fact, the whole world is searching for the miraculous herb named Sanjeevani butti as it has tremendous importance towards keeping humans alive !
