It was a starting of volleyball after cricket . Cricket is still liked and played in Jakimirya , but since last few years , volleyball sport is picking heights . This is shown in this video.

The first city bus between my city Ratnagiri and my village Jakimirya in 1969. I was in the third standard in primary school and if 09 years old. Now , city bus is a regular thing here and such you can see it in the video.
